This is our biggest project to date, 6000 trees planted in February 2022. The site is on private land between Hitchin industrial estate and the village of Ickleford. There are 3 separate mini forests planted in different levels of preparation to see how growth differs over time. The landowner has opened up the space to the general public and has been very generous in donating the land and offering help with maintenance. 

 Protect Earth were instrumental in getting this project completed with funding and guidance.

Due to the extreme heat and dry weather of the summer '22 the expected fast growth did not happen but the trees were watered and are doing well.
